Sports Club HQ's SportLoMo platform has been selected as the new registration system provider for Volleyball Canada.
"After an extensive selection process, SportLoMo was a clear choice as our new registration system technology provider," said Alan Ahac, who is leading the project on behalf of Volleyball Canada. "We are confident that our partners and participants will find this a user-friendly platform to support their volleyball activities." The new Volleyball Registration System (VRS) will offer an extensive suite of tools to support athletes, coaches, event organizers, club administrators, referees and volunteers. Volleyball Canada is one of the leading sports organizations in Canada with numbers expected to grow to 100,000 participants by 2021-2022. Sports Club HQ CEO, Jase Farmer, commented, "It's a great sign to have that positive feedback from new clients coming on board. Our mission continues on to provide a unified, simplified home for all registration and communication requirements for Sporting Associations."

We had a great time with the Blacktown District Soccer Football Association in season 2016. So we wanted to take a little look inside how the utilisation of our communication platform was used by several different user types within the Association.

A great ambassador shares a vision for the future and has an innate understanding of the whole point of what is to be achieved. It is even more of a bonus when the ambassador who puts up his hand to take on the job is George Gregan. George has lived sports his whole life and for many years now, has successfully combined sports and business. At the heart of it, he has a passion for grassroots beginnings. He understands all too well the importance of encouragement, the chance to participate and the essential network of volunteers and community engagement that it takes to help sport happen for a team. Being a dad of kids who play sport, he also understands the challenges. Something seemingly as simple as a training schedule or game time - about where and when the kids need to get to, can be a difficult message to deliver sometimes. The need for logistics is the driver behind the idea but the sense of community is what makes this solution great. Experience in all other aspects of sport has put him in the unique position of knowing exactly what problems need to be solved and how to use our communication network to do it. What else could we possibly ask for from an ambassador? Vision, understanding and passion for sport – it’s all there. Welcome to the team George, we will try not to be too starstruck in your presence. And, just because a throwback is always thoroughly appropriate - enjoy this moment courtesy of Youtube....It is still great! When teams are put together well, there is something great that happens – stuff just gets done. Enough said. Here is our team of do-ers:
They join us (Jase and Brooke Farmer), who take up the final 2 seats on the Board, with Jase continuing on leading the company as CEO. This post has been a long time coming as these guys have been toiling for the past year to make the changes needed to take HQ Network from it’s humble beginnings to being ready to take on the world.
So, to Johnno, Ben and Dave – A belated ‘Welcome’ and a big thank you for your tireless work and support. Good things just keep happening now that you guys are involved. Glad to have you on board! Ok, so there are a couple of confessions to get out of the way before we dive into this bit of news… First – We are a bunch of league fans, at every level, from the grass roots juniors through to the top tier professionals. Second – We are Gold Coast locals so we love anything that benefits Gold Coasters Hopefully we will be forgiven for making a bit of noise about this bit of news because we are proud to play a part in (and be trusted by) the Gold Coast Junior Rugby League to deliver their communication network.
Casey Bromilow of Gold Coast Junior rugby league says "we were happy to partner with Sports Club HQ in the customisation and rollout of this network. Their software is industry leading and provides many further integration possibilities for our association." He added, "The support provided to our clubs has been exceptional and I'm sure will continue to further strengthen the relationship". The best bit for us? Seeing our hard work and energy in action at an association level and looking forward to continue to be there on the journey with Gold Coast Junior Rugby League.
Thanks everyone, looking forward to the year!
